I think that this is the truth- and truth is what it is- purging tears of what I thought was the only perspective-and come to find out- there is much ado over nothing-

woke up this morning @ 4 a.m. - temp was 8.2 degrees above zero - 6 a.m. now & it's 9.7 degrees above zero - damn heat wave - indulging myself at the moment with two pieces of leftover blueberry pie - one big piece & one small - i'm such a hedonist - never wanted a monk's life anyway - more power to those to whom it fits but I caught a scent of it once and thought to myself you've got to be kidding - and no women too? yeah, right!
not heater conditions out there now i'm tellin ya - ya got to bring out the big guns for this stuff - it's FURNACE time boys & girls! Trading dollar bills for warm air - hell yeah, Mongolia!

- it is dark and unknown here- but cold for sure- i dunno about chess- but i think the blueberry pie is sounding pretty good-couldnt keep it together- just a hot mess of mom emotions- monks?
i have heard enough about those guys already- in thailand they all wear orange and have ray bans- like rock stars- they get thier own place to wait for the plane-
i think monks have thier own sociology of what is cool= and what isnt...
we will never know what a monks life is really like- and my guess is- they have had some hanging from the chandiliers get down party right there in the castle or wherever they live= they got golden buddahs with designs on the bottom of thier feet big as a hotel.
i think that if the thing that keeps people out is the same thing that draws them in-
it is like that-

i ordered the big canvas today= and got car insurance- money mangagement- ugh=never been good at it- but maybe driving for hours on the most dangerous traffic days in the year amkes it all so much more fun- with - my flavors-laughing--

homemade mac & cheese here tonight - fresh made bread - the big canvas sounds like fun to me - how big did ya go? the last sheet of masonite i got was 4'x8' but i didn't work on it that size -cut it down into four panels 2'x4' - ain't been painting in awhile except when i punch up the paint program - but no canvas work - maybe it's time - hey would appreciate pics on your painting when done should you be so moved to show off shamelessly -

86 inches by 2.5 feet of linen medium texture- baby- when i used to take those life drawing and painting classes- i had all these naked women on my walls at the buffalo farm- people would come over and one time a little boy asked' why are there naked people on all the walls' since then i have gone in another direction altogether- where people are people but it is - vague-
plains of color- my painting teacher that i loved the most told me- i do not see shadow - and that i have my own style with color- i suspect she could be right-
it was 155 when i woke up- i ate the amazing food yesterday- here - by my own hands- that is a joke by the way- remind me to tell it to u== no it was wild black rice with portobello mushrooms and aspapragas and broccllii and zuccinini- with a cheese tortilla - i can no longer spell- i swear to god-
i gotta gesso that baby up when i get her-
it is a long process ya know- i have worked on paintings for six months- and then i have had paintings that pissed me off - cause i felt like i couldnt make it work- only to find it was a message- why is sleep so odd these days?
anyway i feel good this evening -morning- and i hear a voice-'yeah '
loving my dog- the beast he is- with a personality to boot- geez- i love that dog- he is a shepard and he likes to run and herd- autralian sheppard- he would play frisbee if i would let him- with his lil goose step with that cast on- wow- determined- beyond belief
it might be rubbing off on me

wow you up early - yeah you got a painting in ya lookin' to get out & out - that's why strange sleep - oooweee that's a sizable stretch of real estate you got there to paint on -
and sure you had to mention food to - i hope ya can't sleep for a week & ya deserve it too - i gesso too sometimes but then i can't wait for it to dry & I start painting in it while it's still wet hell yeah Mongolia - i've put paint on canvas with everything from fingers to hemlock sprigs - paper plates - driftwood - toilet paper - sumac leaves - sticks & stones -
one experiment came out real well - i liked it anyway - painted a whole scene on a canvas end to end then painted over half that scene with white spray paint then began to paint on the sprayed paint while it was still wet - two-for-one and what a critter it turned out to be - omg omg somebody stop me!
you right about dogs - personality & all - got one too - first time i've had a dog in my "adult" life - and I didn't want him to begin with but here he is all grown on me & stuff - he's more whacked than me ya know - black & tan coonhound - got a howl you can hear for miles - if you were ten miles out in a kayak on the lake and he howled from shore you would be able to hear him - he barks at snakes and i've never seen him hunt coon - he's seven now & when he leaves his body behind in this world I'll be digging a big grave -
you better get busy on the canvas before ya ex-PLODE !

it has not been delivered yet- and my frenz got a house at the coast- that is for many days-for free- and i cannot refuse- so i have a box of mags and i plan to make colleges if it is snowing- i heard it will be- i dunno- i just want to make sure that i have fun stuff to do- there is a fireplace- lincoln city- and my oldest friend lives there on top of a mountain somewhere- with a whole bunch of elk- by the place- i dunno- she is a real off the grid woman-always has been- we met in a hippie commune in the santa cruz mountains 40 years ago- she wore pink- i wore black- we hitchiked everywhere- she had huge breasts-
and the world got big for me up there at the HOG FARM which was really like the grateful dead and the hog farm and a school- i didint go to school much there- which is why with no high school diploma the fact that i have a BA is a full on miracle- seriously- i spent my life thinking i was ugly and stupid and as it turns out i was wrong- can you believe it? i was wrong- anyways-now after all these years- i went to that earth dance down in humbolt- that was a stretch for me- micheal franti-oh yeah was nice- but- - the whole place was really wild- i saw wavy gravy after many years of not seeing him- like at the commune- and he was story telling- but wow- i been spoiled by my elders - i mean - back in the day wavy was awesome- but- now- he is an older like me-

anyways - it is a beautiful day- and yeah a painting is waiting to get out- i am packing little things for the coast - never been at the coast when it was snowing- was always at the mountains

i guess now it is because i had a child on a very cold night- it is because i have been in kauai- it os because- ?
i didnt do well- SNOWED IN- but that was then and this is now- and the barn cat is indoors and it just started snowing- wow- been waiting all night- kept opening the window- yeah it s here- the white knight-looks mushy and dirty out there-
i am going to get a bike- i will= i am going to be like those chicks with the little bike outfits on- on the side of the road- going to take my bike everywhere so i can ride- i was jealous when i looked out the hotel room window and there was a meet up- of a bunch a bike riders- yeah- one thing about bike riders and hikers- we are so cool-and healthy- been eating mushrooms and black rice- now its party time- still no bread- 2 days now- it is like kicking dope- or booze- it is heavy- but i feel so good- no meat- no eggs-yeah- my woman is back- that would be me- that hunger s gone- no milk- microscopic amounts of cheese-
i am going to be hot at 56-
