"throw my brain in a hurricane"

sometimes I come here just to listen

sometimes I come here to "check out my condition"

put my brain on "cloud nine"

Still Trucking, I enjoyed "Dear Mr. Fantasy"...It took me back to the day. 8) I preferred the 1971 version of "Vanishing Point" to the 1997 remake. It was more true to the times. I didn't like the militia & libertarian overtones in the remake. Traffic did a good version of the tune. In addition, if you haven't already, listen to the Bloomfield, Kooper & Stills "Super Session" version of the above tune. See link:

Funny you should mention that. :| You know I listened to the song three times before I actually sat still and watched the complete video. Honestly steve the video gave me second thoughts about the song.

For some reason the ending with the bulldozers and clouds reminded me of this.

btw I meant funny interesting, not ha ha, funny like synchronicity

I tripped out on the video
the lines disappearing under his hood
felt like I was back on my wheels again :D

I wondered if the video might have been made up of movie clips? Or is it just a made for MTV kind of video with a back story. did you recognize anything in it that reminded you of a movie?

 oops yeah I did not mean to turn this into a pop quiz but I would be very interested if you have any recollections of a movie that might have been from?

I got to change my avatar to Homer Simpson
not sure about the message steve I just liked the sound track to the movie. And the road disappearing under my hood. & I liked Stevie Winwoods vocals more than your choice, but you know different strokes, I don't really hear the music so much as the lyrics.

Vanishing Point the soundtrackDoh!

"Take A Little Pill"

Mama got depressed
When Daddy was a-dying
So the doctor gave her something
To help her with her crying
Then she couldn't sleep
So he gave her something else
Now there's yellow, red and pink
On her bathroom shelf

Says if one don't work
Then another one will
If you got a little hurt
You take a little pill

Fella down the road
Walks with a limp
He's a decorated soldier
And a pain pill pimp
Got a loaded gun
And an old pit bull
A black Cadillac
With a whole trunk full

Says if one don't work
Then another one will
If you got a little hurt
You take a little pill

Lay on your tongue
Ain't a nerve that can't be numb
Ain't a buzz that you can't buy
Ain't a low you can't make high
Til it wears off
Like it always will
And when it does
You take a little pill

Woah
Woah

You don't need a needle
You don't need a vein
No burn like whiskey
No cross like cocaine
If you ever lose a lover
Or you wanna lose some weight
What you can't cure
You can medicate

If one don't work
Then another one will
If you got a little hurt
You take a little pill

Lay on your tongue
Ain't a nerve that can't be numb
Ain't a buzz that you can't buy
Ain't a low you can't make high
Til it wears off
Like it always will
And when it does
You take a little pill

Woah
Woah
