ya know i had to think about that - but i went lookin' - & guess what? I did! just this one though - it was a 1980 Cordoba LS - it was 28 yrs old when i bought it - ran it for two years and gave it to a friend's son - he ran it for another year and a half after that - don't know what happened to her after that - she just wouldn't quit though - the old girl was a nice ride 8)

maybe it´s the mix of the color and the big size: it looks to me like the kind of sport-car a mafia guy would choose..., it looks very innocent with that golden & eerie landscape behind, though...! Gracias for sharing the photo, mingo! :D

Once again, it seems we are a very brilliant bunch of after-facts/after decades thinkers  :

Ha - i didn't even think about the background - mostly those are the driftwood & stone gardens I make - the white thing that looks like some sort of skeleton one of my sons made out of pvc plumbing pipe - left it here when he got a place in town - he has since taken it down - I figure things are as crazy down there as they are up here even without being able to read the articles you post - gonna take these online and get them translated - or get the english editions online - ya gotta love the 'net - i have more info accessible to me right here right now in the next minute than my father had access to his whole lifetime - i talk with folks all over the world - i play chess with Russians, Iranians, Eskimos, i trade poems with New Zealanders, i discuss zen poetry with the Japanese, i know what's going on in Mongolia right down to how dry weather in the last decade has affected the life of the nomadic herders on a day-to-day basis - I talk history with the Canadians and trade posts with Veronica in Argentina - all of it without moving from this chair - i couldn't explain any of this to my father much less my grandfather - and what it all means is yet to be seen - sorry, got on a roll didn't I ? Ok I'm outta here Veronica !
Great to talk to you too! 8)

The logics of our local versión of the materialist-consumerist-capitalist world shall be haunting us inside and outside our homes for a time, I guess ... :?

damn it all to hell! - had a whole post all finished and ready to go here and pushed the wrong damn key or something and sent it off to never never land i guess - totally gone - talk about hauntings - RATS! I don't remember now how it was all put together - i was riffing off of the thing you said about being haunted by things that were going on - DOUBLE RATS !!

ok ok - it's gone - it's done - it's over - nothing more to do about it - follow some of my own advice here & just move the hell on - just one more momentary heartfelt DAMN-IT-ALL-TO-HELL :!: :!:
and i have come to the end of this post - 8)

RATS-RATS...?! damn... (gracias!)

Listening in the public tv to León Gieco singing his songs joined by joyous guitars riffs, yeah! : cheers for the 30 years of democracy-in-continuity! :) (she looks so young & so old at the same time, sometimes! ...  )

does it mean anything if a guy who does not know what anything means responds to your statement by saying "I know exactly what you mean?" - 8)

no idea, I need more data than a statement, of course! :)

Some possibilities:

."ok, it´s enough, shut up please ..."
." stop making sense!"
." life is nonsense, what can I do?"
." uhhhh, I have superpowers!: I can read your mind plus I´m a hacker"
." keep talking, I just wanna be here"
. "ok, ok ... now listen what I think about it ..."
." I feel communication is posible thanks & beyond words & meaning. But don´t ask me for the theory."

uhhh, well... so we are a problem...!!!!!!!! (well, it´s not news, "El país!".... ! :) ) , and that always had a bright & a dark side, you know?. Sorry if we cause you some interpretative complications... :| and sorry if you can´t stand at all the too much "we" thing, Spaniards ...( I´m sure one of the multiple purpouses in being incarnated argentinians is to work both the too much I/we thing & to deal with old logics & material desapego sometimes in a boudeville-thrilling way, ).
