snow in the fields

Post by the mingo » December 20th, 2013, 11:06 am

snow in the fields
snow in the woods
i don't see you
i don't see your tracks
or the tracks of your dog
the beach in the snow
is like me
without you now
i remember when you
brought me
the bird bones you found
held them out to me
opened your hand so i could see
your fingers uncurling
you said
look
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

beautiful snapshot....the emotion is undeniable ....well done
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

I love this-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
