how it goes

Post by the mingo » January 1st, 2014, 4:33 am

ok this is how it goes
pull one thing from out under a rock
another off a shelf
the next from a video (good ol' youtube)
the one after that
from something someone said
and eureka!
blend the words all up
not to worry or have to sort it
they make their own connections
and always stand up
as a poem
as a statement
as a necessity
as a jam
to hear the train blow
approaching the crossing
everyone dreams of a better day
the truth is no one
will be able to escape it
when it comes
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

No escape ?
Whistle blowing in the wind
Train hustles down the tracks
Like dust and grass and people
Trains have an old rhythm
Kind
Sweet
Giggling
Down the tracks

Liked that - thanks for that
Happy new year
In honor of the train workers

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
