re suppositions

Post by sonofthesun » January 31st, 2014, 3:15 am

A rewrite of a poem I wrote and posted here oct 17, 2010. I may retitle it The bug nextdoor...

with no empty space
each is as important as the next
this is no supposition
find your center and work inwards
as the truth is personal
all surround is relative
no thing truly dies
just a form in a series unending
nothing is everything
everything is nothing
the spiral connects
om mani padme hum
om mani padme hum
om mani padme hum
There is no empty space

Maybe the center works it way out- gets larger and brighter and almost hypnotically beautiful
Like scrabble- words and letters
The smells of ink and paper
Have lost themselves to trees
Pine needles that glisten

Simple
In the light
Every breathe is a gift
But
Notice
The trees

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
