Threads
Strands
Golden words
Wiser words
Worlds
Whirlpools
Whipper wills
Found my thrill
Now the thrill is gone
All them lives
I got to keep on moving
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

reflections?refractions of a calmer mind
where the ink bleeds together between the yin and yang
looking deep into that feminine mystic
the goddess, the movie star, the poet, the artist,
my woman in the shadows

first mothers, sisters, lovers,
always envied kerouac his daughter
tried to walk a mile in his shoes
he done the best he could
Jan got to know her father
she got to love the old drunk

what was this about
calm mind
a beating heart
them old voodoo bongo in the congo d'vil nigger music
that's what I need these days
as I walk the path of the heart of darkness
and try to write the stories that will make the young girls cry

oh yes studio eight jam it's good to the last. . . .

beneath the surface
when I dive deep into sleep
descend into the deep
the sun shoots rays of light
the shaft of light descends into the deep to the darkness beneath me
the void in the deep
ocean dream

I used to be a fish
light and water and life goes on
I sail that dark sea within me
in my dreams
and when I am awake I turn on my TV
to keep in touch with reality

Funny how family finds u
When your real ones
Are gone
Such a finality
After 4 years
Time to move on
How much good times
Left any ways
We all gonna meet that unknown
If anything is there to greet ya
Missin CJ
Missin Mom....jumpin jack gone since '88
Missin the live ones too
Miss my daughter in Michigan
Brother in Wisconsin
All my dogs gone
Never could keep a cat
Birds all flew away
I like warm in my old age
But I figure unless something happens
I'm here to stay
UNtil that big old what if
Hauls my ass away
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

Piecemeal June - Jordan Krall

In the supernatural season you cannot wear antlers at the Motherhood Hotel. Breast augmentation is a bluegrass city limit beyond which the big bang theory crys & crys in dual audio mode. Photographs of assassinations unwind to vacancy all the way back to the first white girl born underfoot in America. She died young perhaps & with a tambourine in her hand.

The tambourine was buried with her.

never delve deep enough to fathom the connection from mother to daughter
just respect it

I been kind of slow
I have a flair for the obvious
I just got off the boat
but nobody can tell Jesus nothing about dames

Wonder of woman
Never gonna try to
Figure it out
Wanna be the good guy
Shelf builder
Tread softly
Toilet seat down
Eat everything
With a smile
Walk the dog
Go get the wine
Don't forget them ciggies
Watch them TV shows
Eat that Ben & Jerry's
Better than that oodles of noodles
I had last night
Back to the jam for Christ sake!
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

my ass be dragging
but that's good
a good day today
hanging out with
my homeboy who turns 81 this month
he is goin down rockin or he ain't gone down at all
always liked that song

I must be getting senile bits and pieces of overheard conversations from thirty years ago
"You know how to feed a cat?"
"With a shovel"

I like the little critter killers
but I won't have another pet

I still miss someone too

Reality is what it does
Bout different things
Adventure and it's direction
Last time it took 6 years
To settle down
In my 40's then
60's now
Feeling like retire, but for what?
Lotta if's
Still got that itch
Ain't worth a shit
Without that wake up horn
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

( from the keyboard of a borrowed computer on borrowed time still ain't back online fulltime but like the bones of Neal Cassady by the railroad tracks down in Mexico things are moving toward working themselves out ) ( been reading what ya'll been up to you guys been smokin' busy - )
( wow ) -
( missed you all )

one cup of coffee & four mountains move -
the Holy Spirit & the ghost of Michele to greet me first thing this morning
before even getting out of bed
lost a job in Paris
shot a man in Reno
time rolls for no waiting stone
hate can't capture the imagination or the soul
but vengeance makes money -
you can fuck in Cairo
you can fuck in Amarillo
but yu can't hold even one drop of mercury
between thumb & forefinger like love or puppets
& we are down in here now where all the bubbles come from
where all the bubbles come from -
the grinding jaws of the hours
work to snap shut on me
from all directions day & night
but Lazarus is my brother & Jesus is his King
the grave cloths have been removed from us
& the stones are crying out that's it's time to be movin' on
movin' on
movin' on
the Holy Spirit & the ghost of Michele told me so
first thing this morning
they handed it to me
they said here now run with it
and I am
movin' on
movin' on
moo-moo-moo movin On -
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Born to b a Nomad
Rolling w/the caravan
Across the sloping plains
Amongst the steppes
& buttes, mesas in distance
Path or road
Paved or stone
Weary traveler
Moving
Alive
Thoughts mixing blender
Jam persists
I believe u gotta b born
2 b a jammer
Not everyone's cuppa tea
But like the trout
Once released unto water
Ohhhhhhhh what wonders
Are gained
Maybe it's the word giving
& taking
But yes, it b there
Jam on me mingo
Jam on me ST
Jam on me Judih
Movin on is what it's all about
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....
