First Season of Poetic Eye is Done

Doreen, LRod, et al:

The first season of The Poetic Eye is done. There is a total of 6 shows. Four of the shows are from the Cabaradio shoot from last June. It has been a learning process and not an easy one. Producing a TV show is really a full-time endevour and not easily done in one's spare time. The good news is that towards the end I became much more effiicient at getting things done.

D&L -- I still owe you some dubs I believe -- let me know what you are lacking. I bought a big box of VHS tapes so I am set. Also I am trying to get the whole first season to DVD, but that will probably take some time.

I hope all of you out there are well. I haven't had any time to be online as of late. In addition to the show itself I got talked into running for the Board of Directors and actually won -- but that is too much like work and doesn't produce one damn show. Also I have been working out every day and have lost 20 pounds, which is great but also time consuming -- so apologies for my disappearing act.

Thanks for stopping by and letting us know about your season. We were honored to be part of it! I know producing a show like that must be time-consuming hard work. We appreciate all you have done and are continuing to do to promote the arts & spoken word poetry. Thank you so much for including us!

We very much appreciate you providing us a copy of the Cabaradio show. All we're missing is the Poetry Orchestra at the end of the Cabaradio and the interviews with the visual artists.

We're talking about doing another Cabaradio in Sept. Maybe you can find some additional material for the next Poetic Eye season in the next show.

Congratulations on the Board of Directors position! That's great! You deserve it. (and congrats, also, on your healthy lifestyle!)

OK, I'll get those dubbed as soon as I can get by to do it.

There is a new DVD burner from Sony which sonds like it might be a great tool. Resonable price too.

I have been shooting the second season which is poets from the CD 31 Arlington Poets -- of which I am one. So that is taking up my time right now. We'll see how things are in September, but I don't want to promise anything because I don't want to spread myself too thin and end up doing nothing well, which is what I have been afraid of happening as of late.
