One shot one gun shot and bam (found poem)

Post by david » April 5th, 2014, 5:35 am

It was like living half my life in a warm gray box, and being moderately happy in there because I knew no better...and then discovering a little hole in one corner of the box, a tiny opening which I could get a finger into, to tease and pull at, so that eventually I created a tear, which lead to a greater tear, which lead to the box falling apart around me...so that I stepped out of its confines into startlingly cool, fresh air and found myself on top of a mountain, surrounded by valleys, forests, soaring peaks, and a stunning, breathtakingly blue sky. And that, of course, isn’t even the start of the real story, that is more like the breath that is drawn in before the first syllable of the first word of the first paragraph of the first chapter of the first book of the first volume of the story.

oh touch me in the morning- loved it
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
