My mind is always on empty
that's because it's always full with nothing
it's like a vehicle that runs on air
movies are playing inside the tank
but there are only ghosts in the machine
if you know what i mean, it's a meaning machine
technology has come a long ways but it's not back yet
where it was before it was destroying the planet
we still have that original fisher body
we still have that star connection to the origin
but the system crashed on the moon of some mythic world
and we have been running the programs of a dead God
even so a God can only be so dead
there is still some paradise crackling in the burnt out circuits
in some ruin of a great artificial intelligence that plays
the ninth symphony over and over again to the secret weapon
