buddha mind goes bird
across the world
shadow crosses the road
the old railroad tunnel may not be open
object reject
object accept
the sum is not the whole of its parts
anti psychotic pyramids rise toward sky
i remember my friend saying
fuck this - i want a motor!
he's long since gone to the woods
because nirvana was never
his cup of tea
and he was never sure about
the grave rushing towards us all
nothing fancy - straight up
years later a poem went onto a tree
saying:
"into your scattered lion
i pour scripture & sperm
i touch flesh & feel bone
on evening rides i cross your skin landscapes
watch your moon clear the mist
& wax full"
buddha mind goes bird
buddha mind goes bird
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
Re: buddha mind goes bird
only noon and the lonely moon is drunk again
much my may
touch my day
rush a way
i convince myself buddha until all the wine is gone
how many burps really want to remain unseen?
i broke the cork--O WELL!
much my may
touch my day
rush a way
i convince myself buddha until all the wine is gone
how many burps really want to remain unseen?
i broke the cork--O WELL!

skin landscapes ... love that. yeah, I've tried to describe various 'scapes at times ... cloud-scapes, skin-scapes, rock-scapes, you know, the general shape of things ...

Re: buddha mind goes bird
your writings have always been permeated by the vastness & stark lines of the landscape you live in Mark, not overshadowed - but permeated - the way it comes thru puts a distinctive signature on your lines - i enjoy how it all comes out - think i have an inkling what you mean about the description of even one single thing - it's damn devilish to pull off
