and it was so so

Post by revolutionR » August 16th, 2014, 5:03 pm

I sat under the sky today
each word was colored with a different meaning
we believe that putting certain words together
mean something to a tree, or to you and me
I have seen the writing on the wall more then
I care to know, what more there is to know
I read something in the Bible once
But between the snake and the naked woman
I can't quite recall what that was
something about the long and the short of it
all that secret code language buried in the sand
of our understanding, our comprehension clause
but really more to the wider field of our thought
a poem doesn't have to hide anything in ambiguous
terminology wrapped around insidious suggestion
If I could read a religious tract backwards, would I
see something different from reading it from the front
analogy is the art of making things transparent
literal determinism is the mechanism of makings things solid
but solid is only a word that describes how things appear
a poem is not concerned with mere appearances, projections
of categorical imperatives, empirical chimeras, quotidian notes
diametrically opposed views of the rift between neither here or
there, the patriarchs and the renegade thinker must poop or die

then there was light.
and then the religious tracts,
and lo, they were solid as concrete,
and spiritual genesis was exiled
for awhile, only for awhile.

i like the snake and the woman-and the sky= i liked the pretty parts of the bible- where they say things like 'worry not ,GOD knows every hair on your head-
the secrets of your heart
the first rommance novel- lol-
the tides bring different colors and answers
questioning the parting of the seas
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

yes, and from there a great imagined triumph of some old sort or another, until it hangs there like a phone off the hook, the receiver beeping.

the bible is wondrous
wisdom of ages, congealed
it has poetry and song, it has
darkness and light, parables
and wisdom, even deep in
its first genocide chapters.

...no matter how much poetry there is in the Bible
there is no Bible in poetry.

True. It ends up reading too much like a book review.

Although, a long overdue review, maybe ... Or maybe not.

hey jesus-i just wanted to say 'that i have what i need- but could you help me a little bit? allah= mohammed- bahulah- SOMEBODY- ok mary - i know you are a way better listener=jesus just looks at me with those eyes- and well- bible = i once had a coffee kart that was called 'gethsemene cafe'
when jesus was telling everyone to 'wake up-'
and they fell asleep- with roosters crowing three times
i used to make my kids and husband ride bikes to the Hanalei church on sunday
almost needed a bullwhip
i was born in hollywood
the traditions of movie stars do not really teach backbone-
my kids say now 'MOM THAT WAS THE WROST PART OF OUR LIVES'
-------------------------that guy that goes into the cave= and well - sarah is a trip having a kid real late=
but really noah was a drunk- who else can hear 'the god' who tells you to gather two of every animal and build an ark-i would be like 'sure dude, whatever you say'
or maybe he was a old burnt out surfer with a love for the sea- i dunno
but fuckin great story telling really= except for the part where the story says' and she made him eat the apple'
are you kidding me?
i have been married four times
5 years, 6 years, 9 years 2 years--

you cannot MAKE A MAN DO ANYTHING

and that thing about 'who told you you were naked?'
well when adam and i were fooling around he showed me what that thing was for' she said
HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?
so mary- i like you the best- they say that they were stoning you to death for being a whore- and well-i dunno- i think jesus came along and protected you and loved you back to health- that he was a healer man-

i wonder if maybe=
we all missed the whole point-
creator=is this the best we got?

The greatest book review ever told.

...as far as "Creator", I don't believe anything was ever created, as such and such, as in the beginnin.
we are art thou.
