Spring, is in me

Post by hester_prynne » March 31st, 2005, 8:15 pm

Fueled by resistance,
whimper lined,
my trail of loss,
has outgrown it's winter.

Wild very patches,
ripe, juicy,
unfair thorny stems,
are ready for harvest.

I close my eyes,
taste the gifts
of growth again,
for the first time.

Bitter casings
melt like ice,
under my warm,
new tongue.

Blossom spurts,
ooze delicious,
replanted in soul.
Spring, is in me.

this is a very erotic piece of poety.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

Judih, thanks for readin me! Something feels good all the sudden! That's all I know....

Edog?
Erotic? Really?
Wow. This is good news. Perhaps my libido hath rose again! And here I thought it was gone for good. Oh joy, maybe the Easter bunny didn't forget me after all! :D

Heh.
Thanks buddy.

I love this~ *s* The power and burgeoning growth, the inevitable turning of the wheel and rebirth coming into its own......I think that's where the erotic nature of this piece comes from.......an unstoppable force~ Very cool write~
