tiger tiger

Post by revolutionR » November 13th, 2014, 4:39 pm

I'm listening to Tiger Hatchery
never heard of this jazz music before
they must have liked John Coltrane
as free form music as it gets
meanwhile, a tiger was seen today
roaming around near the European Disneyland
but I read that a comment from the Disney
said they have no live tigers there
so I guess it was just a coincidence
some pet baby tiger got lost near the Paris Disneyland
The last time I was at Disneyland, it was in Anaheim
where I grew up, my parents moved when I was a teenager
to another town near by, I was seventeen and on LSD
it was one trip I had that I could have done without
but then I could not have written about in my novel
about a teenage acidhead in the late sixties
I had a strange vision that night on new years eve 67 to 68
not that LSD is not about strange visions
but this one was more like seeing the future within the future
I read an article today, oh boy, about how some UFO people
think that there will be disclosure soon, that the gov will
relent and tell us what it knows, ha ha, what I saw that night
on LSD in Disneyland new years eve, was not a UFO
what I saw was that Disneyland was just a front for something else
I wonder though if that tiger near Disneyland Paris
is a message from the future

The song" in the jungle ... The lion sleeps tonight is on in the backgrounds smells of chp suet
Bamboo hut is surrounded by the crew
Every one seems to smoke
The beaches of Phuket beckon- Thailand and the refuge for tigers
I can taste the honey in the tea now
The problem is that
He was not

Re: tiger tigers think that " stoned" implies that a person

Gone somewhere that is too far to walk-
And I know I do not " fit" but I just don't want to conform
Whatever direction
I am going in
I believe I'm supposed to go there
I really don't care if anyone is stoned- but I care
If I am treated well
That is kind of like-
The best I got
No judging implying etc
That anyone but god knows what's best for me
Because I have trusted enuf cowboys
Indians
And I'm done playing-
So if you want me to " jam"
Best you stick to that
Because I am at this point
Really reluctant to take off my hat and stay awhile
Talk story
Pretty sure the star nations have better manners
Speaking always kindly
Nurturing creativity

" a tiger can't change its stripes".

does this sound like a put down on a tiger?

or is tiger and stripes just a metaphor

for a common way of thinking about another's behavior

so in the more Blake like metaphor, tyger tyger

burning bright in the forests of the night

tyger takes on a whole other aspect

What immortal hand or eye, Could frame thy fearful symmetry

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes

and so on....

I have one " inked " on my back
But these days I think about installing a non nylon zipper

The bone yard where the tiger feeds
Is where poetry rises from human life
A fact
Tigers will not kill you while you are watching- that is why tiger hunters wear a face on the back of their heads-
Tigers eye- the stone has interesting properties-
But the stripes
Mmmmm thinking u should go to Thailand to the sanctuary

It that picture you?

I really like that, "The bone yard where the tiger feeds
is where poetry rises from human life"...sounds kinda Buddhist

I also really like the first line...you got a great first line for a poem here.
