... what you said about when Cj was dying and the man she pointed to - had a similar experience when my father was dying - he died at home - i was sitting next to his bed one night and noticed he was looking off and up into the corner of the living room opposite - his gaze was intent, focused and surprised - i asked what he was looking at - he said ya know, he's clean shaven! - he said it with a note of surprise in his voice ... "who Dad? who?" - "that man up there in the corner" - i looked but saw nothing or, at least, didn't see what my father was seeing - and i wanted to, I really wanted to ... my father was not an openly religious man but i have come to believe in the one whom God sent into the world and I really wanted to see what my father saw that evening from the bed where he lay dying because I didn't have to choose between alternatives to know who my father was seeing - anyways, my father closed his eyes for a few moments and i was watching him when he opened them again - he looked into the far corner of the living room up toward the ceiling once more - without taking his eyes off that location he spoke again - he said - "He's a handsome brute" - Dad died a couple of days later -
