In Response to a Recent Question

Post by 68degrees » January 31st, 2015, 6:36 pm

One of the last times I saw you
your hands were waving wildly
Your hair was messed, a left shoe
was tipping almost to the floor

You were talking to someone, you were
seeing and hearing no one
You were going where nobody knows
You were talking to empty air, you were
between then and now, you were
a state of mind, an old habit

I, son, you, father; two people
who knew each other for fifty-two years
It has taken me five years to relearn
everything you were, right from wrong

i sort of liked that album there were a couple of good guitar songs on that album i think ken kesey said something about going further and deeper but then no one's ever heard much from him lately maybe he went too far

Love the reply, sweetwater...not familiar with album. I do know that Kesey died in 2001. He's wrestling somewhere with memories of Nurse Ratched.

Thanks for looking in.
