The Only Difference Blues

the only difference
between my father & a nigger
in the year of our Lord 19 & 49
is my father had shoes and socks
the nigger, he just had the shoes if luck was with him
the only reason i mention it
in this year of our Lord 2015
is because the notion & fashion now is
that's all been changed

misplaced notions are only potions for the implausible.

I walk a mile for a camel, if a camel would walk in my shoes.

my holes got socks in them.

year of our bored. the corporation in in session.

got me some blues today, gonna chase dem blues away.

got some grays too.
