too cold to kill

Post by saw » February 16th, 2015, 9:04 am

best way to lower the murder rate in Baltimore
is to find a way through the magic of science
and mad professors to keep the temperature
below freezing, 'cause ain't nobody's stinkin' life
worth freezin' your ass off for, it's a matter of fact
just read the statistics on my computer here, so
as we all know, it must be true,
it's either that or move to Alaska with Sarah Palin
where I can keep an eye on Russia
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

You mean this isn't Alaska? It feels like it. 9 degrees outside right now and with the windchill factor, it's wayyyy blow zero. Snow is coming.... I hope it's not going to be much. There's no food in the house. I have to go grocery shopping and I don't want to go out there. This body isn't made for arctic weather. My hands and feet turn white... literally.. no matter how much I bundle up. Reynaud's Syndrome. I need to move to a warmer climate. Spring can't come soon enough.

Funny line about good ol' Sarah. She's back in the news again apparently stupider than ever. I saw some clip where she was speaking gibberish.

DC used to be called "the murder capital of the world" and that was during the 80s when I frequented the place. Parts of Baltimore can literally give me the jitters.

Sometimes I wonder how I survived such a risky life I led. Long story. Maybe I'll write it some day.

Darn cat woke me up after only 3 hours of sleep. Again! He can't go out so he mews and mews and mews at my door, bangs his head against it to knock 'cause if he can't go out, he wants to come in so he can bother me in my room. From the weather report, looks like he'll be inside for the next week or two. I better learn to sleep during the day when he does, like a new mother with a baby.

Enough about me... let's talk about your book.

yeah mark, ain't a soul on the streets....no dogs either...it's quiet

Doreen, this is some serious cold in the mid atlantic, I hope all the homeless have been rounded up and are safe in shelters...you cannot survive this stuff outside...

my wood stove is going round the clock, carrying wood, and burning it....the cycle of heat

Sarah made a few appearances for the SNL 40 yr. celebration....I can't understand a single thing she says....that woman jumps all over the place....she needs to smoke some weed

the city is very complex, with inherent dangers built in for sure...gotta be street smart

yeah, I can relate to the risk taking....somehow, we made it
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
