So, how many layers of truth are there,
and how would one know that, how
could one ever be sure he'd hit the very bottom

that should mean that no one should ever ever ever
get all highfalutin....all cocksure and shit
about their own personal truth

'cause man, I gotta tell ya
that is some tiresome shit,
open up brother, let the world come inside
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

There's truth, whatever that is, and then there's personal convictions and passions. I think people confuse the two often.
