give me the dirt
don't fucking sugar-coat-it

please no more pleasantries
plastic smiles with awkward hesitations

let me in there !
or I'll huff and I'll puff

like a magic dragon
in a land called hardy-hardy-me

give me the real dope
no more soft shoe

I feel like crap. I have a splitting headache. How do you feel this beautiful cold day? Warm? Happy? I hope so.

thanx for being honest Doreen......ha...hope you are feeling much better this snowy day in the mid-atlantic.....not much to worry about here in B'mo....about an inch....nice re-dusting of trees made the view from the meditation room very nice....I think spring is just around the corner.....best way to stay warm is cuddle up with friends...

Headache's gone today! Yay! .. thank you....

My friends are my cats. They're the ones who cuddle with me. Achoooo! Can you imagine being allergic to your own pets? haha.... Enjoy the meditation. We have about 2 new inches out there it looks like. I'm meditating about shoveling it and cleaning off my car 'cause I have an appointment later today. Though it's not much, so shoveling and cleaning my car should be a breeze.

I sure hope you're right about spring. I LOVE spring. I look forward to it.

Spring in Maryland and Virginia is spectacular...have you ever seen the azaleas in full bloom in Tacoma Park ?.....the streets of terraced hills of vibrant color ?....yes, just around the corner if you look at the age of the planet....glad you have shaken the head demons of pain, that sometimes invade against our will...so, you're telling me that Steve Stills really meant if you can't be with the one you love, love the cat your with ? ....have a great day, Doreen

colds really only rough
when u have to work out
in it all the live long day.....
20's seem like a heatwave
right about now....

I remember tying steel on a big commercial job about 35 years ago...there was ice on this corrugated metal that we had to punch holes thru to attach the rebar....my hands were always frozen....worked outside my whole life....construction or carrying mail....in both cases you just stop watching the weather report 'cause it doesn't matter...you have to go out there despite the conditions....you make your lunch, grab your extra clothing, and hit the road
