charlie hebdo blues

Post by saw » March 18th, 2015, 5:35 pm

isn't it mind-fucking
that we are as unique as snowflakes
one of a kind pieces of fingerprint art

it follows that reality
that we all have our very own neuroses...
we all have our special genetic predispositions

each artist signs his work in blood,
each mind has countless random encounters that often
can shape ideas into personal Botticelli's, Stravinsky's or

when the stars align just so, create mythic monsters
incapable of tolerance and empathy, hardliners
with zero capacity for inhaling the night-blooming jasmine

we share our self with the world knowing
there will be some that will hate our work, our life...
the savage man creates pieces of annihilation

the artist persists, will not don the corset of censorship
ignores dress codes of any kind, makes new footprints
in the blizzard of righteousness

he understands the dangers of walking alone in a winter storm
ignores the notes that spell, do this....or else !
he fathoms the perils of speaking his mind

does it anyway
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

"...the savage man creates pieces of annihilation
the artist persists…"

Ain't this the truth. Enjoyed your words.

potent piece. I wish I could say peace.

I would never and will never condone violence from any to any other source.
but I have to say; there are reasons for reasons.
that being the deepest sad mortal truth.

p

the feedback...a pleasure to give.
the reasons for reasons - agreed, the behemoth seems to have achieved a critical mass of unstoppable proportions to inexorably terminate in an inevitable conclusion.
