the morning sun a woman,
the art of shadows
bending light
like a contortionist
curled
into impossibility
the geometry
leaves me breathless,
this crawling pastel canvas
this angular perfection,
grandma moses was pretty good
but she ain't no mother nature
her prismatic personality
her fearless whimsy
her rock-star light show
those slashing brushstrokes
across my face, her arrival on the scene
like clockwork, a female kandinsky
clockwork

Re: clockwork
"the morning sun a woman" ... perfect opening line
"a female kandinsky" ..... NICE!
OK, so here you have a great opening line and a killer closing line and a lot of good lines with terrific phrasing in the middle. What do you call that? I call it a fine poem.
Like clockwork, you keep coming up with these.
