the ugliness - pt. 1

Post by Glorious Amok » April 14th, 2005, 3:42 pm

ugly is not found in the placement of features
ugly is what's inside monstrous creatures
like me, who can't love
or be loved in return
who can't be trusted to sit
and just pensively smoke
without trying to burn down something.

i'm the only one in the room again
painting the walls with my gloom again
and nobody thinks that my taste in colours
is very fucking funny.

i can't be alone and
i can't be seen
i can't open up my mouth
without letting out the screams.

summer seems to bring
the defects
out of hibernation
and if i can't reveal the scars
i'm in for further isolation.

but i'm too fucking scarred
to be in the public eye
i'm too fucking brutal
to be let outside.

i'm such a fucking asshole
i don't know how i can be so crass
without being a little more sociable.

the world has dignity
and i do not.
the world has integrity
and i just get caught
in layering folds of intrigue
and sticky self-deceipt
i've a tendency to become creepy
and watch them beat their hasty retreat.

in spiralling loops of fury
and among beats that just repeat
i'm caught in a black vinyl groove
of loneliness and defeat.

self-inflicted heat burns
tacks
placed on my own seat.

i feel the real world departing
as the fully imagined natural kingdom
simply becomes more alluring.

i feel insane right now
and it won't go away
as easily as just saying...

brain, brain, go away
come back again
in some more presentable way...

This is a great thread.
I see inside your head.
Sad beauty.

Pull the cloak
of paradox shadow
tight around you,
lights going dim,
curtains falling,
bravo's turncoat,
taunts again,
gritty cracks,
night visions,
squeaking through
the thread of
joy's woven fabric,
the rush of end,
slow starts beginnings,
scream swamp romps,
alligator howls,
turn spotlights,
slowly on
again......

i pass thru these tunnels of dank
balancing on the plank of night sweats
dripping with the stank of immorality
forcing myself to bathe in salty mentality
but no time to tamper with my hospitality now
admittedly, there have been times when i've
been perilously close to danger,
ravaged the medicinie cabinet in anger
cursing at the emptiness inside
my stomach, my head, my wallet, and my shelves
wondering where are my guardian elves
tiptoeing in at night to mend up
the holes in my souls
darn the tears
dam the leaks
damn these leaky basements
anyhow.

squeamy seamy
spider moat float,
make this
god forsaken
cellar,
into a boat,
self-doubt paddles,
navigate you through
elves of selves,
are all around
you,
going back,
up to it,
use your spit,
to unglue it,
another
hue of you
to dazzle,
in your utterly
beautiful,
and graceful
stride....

ah, the glorious resplendence of benadryl
tranquility at last
a boat, on which to float thru
the splintered ice floes
of despondency....

the world has integrity

in layering folds of intrigue
and sticky self-deceipt
i've a tendency to become creepy
and watch them beat their hasty retreat.
inside out male female
oh no bohemian girl
if not for you
the world would be a creepy place

sticky self-deceipt of loneliness

I try not to trim my beard to much, I leave as much white as I can without looking like a beserk mountain man. I spent four days in jail one time because a waitress didn't like my looks. But I live so isolated from the real world these days, I work at home and I am not easily bored. Grocery shopping is as close as I get to people these days. I try to look my age to ward them off.
I miss wantabeurdog, that women could shop.

Hey G/A

One question...

do you love your mother?

if she's not living

did you love your mother?
