you chose the colors
the green tranquility
deep blue contentment
you teased the feng sui
with the simplicity of your art,
the hooded female walks in solitude
in an open field, her layered cloak gray as the sky
her eyes as bottomless as the mystery undisclosed
time is ultraviolet, love is infrared
the white cowl covers her head
and you fantasize about those hidden tresses
hour after hour lying on the floor
writing poetry here
listening to jazz in this room
staring at those eyes wanting colorful answers
what color is her hair you think
why would that be important to you
why does she keep your mind eternally
spinning
oh...now I see
