don't know why i started this confession crap
it's nobody's business who or what i've done
i don't see anyone doing me any favors
not that i mind sharing, i'm a generous guy
just this morning at the bus stop
some broken-down old fuckhead
offered to buy a smoke from me for fifty cents
and despite the fact that it was a damn good deal
i gave him one for free - out of the goodness of my fucking heart
yeah, from out of the down home
fucking goodness of my motherfucking heart!
why don't we talk about that for a while
for once, let's talk about that
confessional poem #5

I can hear Bukowski breathing over your shoulder on this one. Darn good.

I really loved Dino's work....still do....working on a memorial tattoo at the moment
this confessional series was really powerful, often he used humor to levy the boom from deep seated pain...though I won't posit his intention in this one...except to say, there is always more than meets the eye
sure miss him....some things are irreplaceable....tho he was much more than a thing....you get the gist
energy never dies....only bodies rot....creativity soars forever....be cool Dino....

I can't go home again. But I get homesick for my homeboy Dino when I think about the times we talked about Fell's Point and our younger days there.
