Dear Lord

You have taught me to be giving,
and to always be kind.
You have Shown me that material things,
are best to be left behind.

I have tried to do everything right,
but my eyes see more than I need.
Love burns deep inside my soul,
the fire screams and my heart bleeds.

To be left standing alone and naked,
with my heart in my hand.
Please take away my senses,
before I leave this land.

Love hurts my heart,
and my soul is in pain.
I long to be whole,
and dance in the rain.

Dancing in the rain is invigorating, renewing the pain of the soul, to bring in love and to allow life to be lived to the fullest.
