nuthin' deeper....
full bore denial,
a pit without a bottom seen
a pendulum swinging deftly amok
across the face of our comfort zones
fingernails digging into mountainsides
the search for verisimilitude and love
an arduous trek over thankless terrain
guarded by big ugly trolls under the bridge
and the billy goats can get quite gruff,
so you really gotta want to cross over
to the see the grasses of other colors there
and I wonder if objectivity
is possible in a closed system of one, and
I wonder if I should just forget about it
water the tomatoes, dust under the bed
I wish there was more to do, but sometimes
wishing is all we've got
thinkin' 'bout a friend
thinkin' 'bout a friend

Girls night was fun last night.
And above me the stars align
But not yet with my own
And the night birds sing
Whilst the demon haunts this restless soul.

not to worry, saw, you got a firm grip on the hidden dust bunny -

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I'm not sure exactly what this poem means. Maybe it is private.
But I understand Wireman's comment----and we had a good game that we could've, should've won----the Ravens that is. The Redskins didn't do too bad either.
saw, about the poem. Some nice phrases but no idea except the general drift what this poem is about.
