the TV is on
bits & pieces of dialogue
make their way back to me
by the window, watching wind
taking leaves to the ground
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

background noise fills in the space
tween silence inside the house
and the wind stripping the trees.... 8)
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

the window by the river
the rush of the water
the scent of fall
rolls thru

awesome
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Visions of color falling
As I lay in my bed
Music relaxes my soul
Another autumn alone.

Remnant memories include
One recent Friday alone
A hospital bed with doctors assist
And no one by my bedside.

I am a ghost afraid of light
Wanting to bake pumpkin pie
But with energy ceased
I watch autumn instead
And above me the stars align
But not yet with my own
And the night birds sing
Whilst the demon haunts this restless soul.
