the big bad wolf

Post by creativesoul » October 18th, 2015, 10:42 am

the one that broke my back
visited me
on his shit brown honda
wearing chaps in the hot summer night

he had a spider web of darkness that he was wrapped in
although he could not see
how he was trapped by its silken thread
once i thought he carried love on his lips
which now looks like snake venom
his laughter seemed so contrived and lost

the coyote dragged his carcass in the dirt
even if he seemed alive
i knew he was going to die
the smell of decompsing years
rolled off him in a nervous sweat
unforgiving time had wrestled his story to the earth
where he would meet the ones that bought him here
for what purpose i wondered
he was my lesson in false romantic fanatsy
i wanted to believe it
like a fairy tale that had some perverted kinky ending
of which i spiraled downward until there was no where to go but up
the pills i took
the weed that turned the walls into a prison
finally let me off the hook
i let him die

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

your descriptions are profound....have the razor edge of someone that has new eyes....

since we don't get a practice life, we end up diving in, too naive to check the depth of the pool

which can lead to scraped chin....or even a broken neck.......keep writing jana..... :|
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

As my newest poem speaks Hell hath no fury.

This one sided love is a aphrodisiac. And I feel the emotions like a roller coaster rolling through an endless sea.
And above me the stars align
But not yet with my own
And the night birds sing
Whilst the demon haunts this restless soul.

Caught like a fish with a hook in my throat
I fight the line that connects me
But that water
That cleaned my soul
Is here
Much like a waterfall
Pounding down on my muscles
Hoping
Healing
You my friends in this haven of words romance and creative energy
Touch the soul
My fish scales shine in the sunlight
Thank you my friends on studioeightcommuntytv- what a great love I have for all of you

Keep your head up

And the night birds sing
