such little boxes - what
do they hold, what
treasure, what secret,
for all has not yet
revealed unto you

to myself...i grow

hard
i find you wrapped
in a beauty that
can be folded neatly
and placed at the
end of our bed
while i mine
the deep hole
made from years
of exploration -
each precious find

It's like the stitches if a blanket
As I crochet one for him
My heart poured into making it
If only to find myself within.

And wrapped in his charms
I await unfounded bliss
The comfort of his arms
Makes me long for each another kiss.

But alas as he knows
I fear he doesn't know just how much
And as I warp myself willingly to show
I long ever so for his touch.

And like the stitches of that blanket
