love falls

grabbing me by the feet
flying above the things once discreet

the streets
the orphan like stranger
once to meet
ok just say it
no no no no
its secret like concrete
had to get some air
my chest is heavy
my heart just knows that when you are falling
there is no net
you hold out your hand
that trapeze comes to you
and you leap=
then his hand outstretched
you grab it
and now both of you are flying
in some circus
where there is a net below

the sequins
the make up
the red lipstick
all the beautiful moves high up in the air
everyone below continues to stare
waiting for the love to fall

below into the safety zone
all alone

but up in the air
the passion
the moan
the muscles
the tone
the tension
the sweetness
the drama
the smiles
the style the movement

waiting to go back to the safety zone
creatures of habit
do not like the unknown
please she said i want to go home
it is so much work way up here
sometimes i am so full of fear
he looks at her with that circus halo
romance and all that clear vision
of someone that is used to flying on trapezes

she like me said that the sea would rather be
a place of adventure
the incsion of love was withn her
but how that never changed a thing

she saw the bridal gown in the window
the ring the while the deer
frozen in headlights
the toasters, the waffle iron
the vibrators
limo
he just wanted her to fly with him way up there= perform new tricks
cook him dinner
the things alway seemed like oil and vinigar
mixing but having to shake it up
to get it right
but it was tight
the two of them up there
all that air and color and light
