Dream Catcher
by Edmund Siejka
Am I the only one
Who didn’t become
What they thought they’d be?
Take me out of this dull world
To a place where dreams live
And passions are born
To a place where
Love is always just around the corner
Where busy hands
Weave silken threads
And moths dance
In a place where night never ends.
My friend
Stay with your dream
Memorize it
And know it well.
So, let’s raise our glasses
And you,
Over there,
Whom I hardly know
So quiet you are
Raise your glass and let’s give thanks
To the Dream Catcher.
Dream Catcher

the glass holds bourbon

the glass holds bourbon

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Re: Dream Catcher
Keep your dreams alive and do them as you can ,share them with the young so they will know to dream .Much to think about here in a way , do we forget our dreams ? and if so how would we know? My glass is raised to you.
Re: Dream Catcher
" the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry ".....this poem speaks directly to the unpredictability of life....the dream catcher is an elusive spirit
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading
