the saddest song

Post by Shem » January 10th, 2016, 6:50 am

Tonight I want the saddest song
(I think I've heard this one)
Tonight is a night of melancholy,
though I couldn't really say why.
There is sadness enough to go around
in this old world; as always,
but that is not the reason.
Tonight I just want to feel.
that seems a hard thing to do these days.
to feel a raw human emotion.
we are force fed so much!
Whether it be through the media,
through schooling, the arts,
friends, coworkers, word of mouth.
There is so much NOISE!
When is there time to feel our own feelings?
You have to make room,
to make silence.
To hear the saddest song.
Its only a whisper now
but we must heed it;
we must heed it
or we
are
lost
Leave the letter that never begins to go find the latter that ever comes to end, written in smoke and blurred by mist and signed of solitude, sealed of night.

It is the song you sing to no one , the moon may hear but it only shines on, ah but I have an old cat friend purring in my lap , the song is sad enough but not so sad as to disturb the cat. have a good night

Some times you need it.

Yeah, the NOISE grows deafening, no doubt ... Throwing my TV out the window helped, but it's all around us. Insidious.
