[saw]

the gusty winter
destroyed the wind chimes
threw them unceremoniously down
to the ground
I picked up all the components
but it was too late
they had passed away
no longer designated musical pieces
so I decided they needed
to evolve, so I turned them into
a sculpture that now hangs
from the very same maple limb...Life
goes on man, morphs with a little help
so pardon my proselytizing
just this once, notice your broken
brother, help him rebuild himself
into something brand new, assemble
your fractured sister, construct her
fragments into houses of cherry wine
that no longer cry for basic elements
a drink of water..
rearrange the molecules of a masterpiece ....
