digital computer art

Post by creativesoul » January 5th, 2016, 6:58 pm

im in class the mac computers look like horses at the race track
the teacher is here-
the snow brought the quiet waiting people
doing things in a sleepwalking motion
couldn't sleep last night
like a cat in heat
i cannot sleep 4 nights a month

there are things that i think; while sleeping that get me jacked up
disturbing- yet brilliant
yet when i set the intention to help that
it comes out all right
But I cannot sleep
My body rattles and creaks
Bones in my feet broken
When I gettiredlike that
I zombie walk
Now I have a bike
Feet can't take the wear and tear
Portland swallowed by snow
Students like ants filling the streets
My ears rumble artistic thunder
I have been deaf to your voices for some time now
Why can't I have relief from pain without insanity
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

acute observations jana.....and vivid images, so easy for me to see the little black ants against the backdrop of snow as I imagine myself perched in an aerie above the street

really like these lines A LOT :

" I have been deaf to your voices for some time now
Why can't I have relief from pain without insanity"

two poignant lines carved from pieces of the heart........ :(
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

liked the visual piece - your written words made you sound out as a theater of war -
hope you win, 8)
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I think that each piece is heard or felt by the reader the way it is
I have no war to wage
The day is ahead
Not going to let the energy
Touch me
If it isn't posative

Ha! That's exactly the attitude Genghis Khan held as he rode forth too ! 8)
