The sun is out

Post by creativesoul » January 25th, 2016, 5:13 pm

I have been getting rid of crap
Stupid colored glass bottles on the window sills
Whatever
Forget the strand of monkeys celebrating the Chinese New Year
Been in the pool at night
I quit smoking
So I'm liquid
Riding the trolley
Around Portland
Happy to be off drugs- moraphine sucked my brains out
Even that cheesy treatment center was cool
I'll do painting and a meeting here and there
But I have seen how it goes around these rooms
People I was sure we're going to go die
Got clean- even stayed clean- and I am A A s biggest slacker
And I do not drink the firewater
But today - before I go to the design 2 class
Ugh I hate it
It's so fucking - grids and - wtf- I'm trudging
My other two classes are pretty rocking
But Lisa looks like a washed up real estate saleswoman-
And designer bitches in Los Angeles with swatches of color
So blessed
Gotta walk the dog in sunglasses
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak. ~ Audre Lorde

those designer bitches in color can blind you...ha...it can be exhilarating following a path that's new to you....many surprises along the trail
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

I will take the bottlesThats the trip about the end of the trip , you just turn around and go some place else , but that trick slippery slope of comfort is so deceiving like sunshine before a cold foggy night, the poem holds a warning . I always re treat into physical riding mountain bikes or hiking walking a shoreline , getting out on the delta >.The poem did make me think also, remembering some days I made choices , That is the dynamics of this poem that I find so interesting.

I like thinking
About
The trick is
Trying to figure it out
Then
Words follow
Through me
Downtown
Sisters of the road cafe
World market humus
Flat bread
Salad
Being on the bike
Running the dog
Now I am here
With Accupuncture
Needles in my head
