Swans paddle like hell

Post by creativesoul » February 17th, 2016, 2:46 am

That gliding on the water?
That's for show- no swan wants to lose their composure
Paddling accross the glassy waters
Those delicate webbed feet cruising
Waiting at a cement table in a park
Filled with trees
The dog looks at me like
WANNA PLAY?
Yeah yeah that's what I have been trying to tell you
PLAY
Yeah
Her body felt like all those fall leaves
Dusted by wind and rain
Snow
Skin changing like and acorn
The old woman with a very old golden retriever
The Hungarian girl that is lost in Portland
In love with an English professor
Is he listened to all sounds of voices
Her ears tickled

Her body had begun to shape itself to be a grandmother
Even if from a distance
Mirror love

She is saved by a squirrel
An old man
Yapping Scottish terriers
Love me
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

vivid scene, and the accompanying truth of aging eyes that have seen plenty....tell it like it is....someone will relate no doubt to the honesty
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

I could not go far from these poems
It is love yes, how to quietly reach inside some ones mind and connect with just a whisper . sigh the pictures forming in my mind were like a visit ,Did the poet feel a touch in thin air ?
