maybe cause it's coming up to Holocaust Day, but that comment about the oven sure hit me in a raw spot.

pizza oven with an agenda.
hmmm, no vodka for me thanks.
once watched a friend of mine drink a whole bottle to prove he could take his liquor (an irish lad, poor fool). he couldn't and it was up to me and a friend of his to drag him home - all 6'5" of him.

So enjoy the strawberry jam portion and l'chaim.

Have you ever seen the memorial in B'more. I was at the dedication. I never heard the word holocaust in reference to the final solution until the seventies, about 74 I think it was, a guy at work was reading a book about it. I suppose it is good to have an officail day to mark the event. I would be nice to have a day to honor every attempt by human beings to kill each other in ever larger numbers. Rwanda such a low tech genocide, I admire all things German, their ingenuity. Levi said I was not deleted because of my joke about the jew and the pizza. I used to use that joke in self defence, WTF can you say to someone who denies it ever happened? Be sweet and reason with them , I just tell that god dam joke and watch them laugh. Then I would ask them what was so funny. It seemed to make a point. I don't think I will ever tell it again. I got no bitch about karma, but I was black and blue from all those punches. Someone on litkicks postied an interview with Baraka I checked out her source to an Egyptian newspaper, the same guy had another interview in there with t a German general who he said he was just a humble soldier doing his duty, obeying the orders of the legitimate government of his country. I guess I lost my cool.
I have drank about a fifth a whiskey in the last ten years, it has always been good to me, crazy mike could keep a bottle of booze so long it had dust and spider webs on it, I guess I am lucky that way.

another thing that makes me nervous about baraka is he had a long homage to black martyrs but he did not mention Malcolm X, I found that peculiar, maybe he just forgot. George W has his season too, I suppose, so what do we say today. Happy birthday Adolph.

this is pretty weird post
but i think never again could be a self full filling prophecy.

I don't think I will ever tell that joke again. I got no bitch about karma, but I was black and blue from all those punches. If there is a next time I am just going to say, Imagine that, and shine it on.

I realize you are under constraints about what to leave in what to leave out. I am thinking about that guy who spent 18 years in prison for talking about WMD's and now I thing he is back in jail again. I still don't understand why Sharon had to go up on the Temple Mount. but I am the wosrse kind of Jew. assimilated.

and the world is spining and we spiral through the galaxy and what ever will be, will be,
my vanity to think I know anything at all,
I been drinking and I been thinking
Life IS Beautiful and so are you.

scooter was one of the few people that was not out to lynch me
suprised the hell out of me, you never know where a kind word might come from. Surfermike too. and a couple of women. other than that I have never seen so many people so unified in their opinions, group minds even among creative people. There was one canadian woman who kept telling me about their wonderful hate speech laws. She was really pissed at me.

Thanks for listening.

Odd stuff, empty glass.... a piece I created a couple of years ago.

This is an interesting thread.

Sorta like a music-word-jam.

We have the Image-ination Word Jam Friday!

Thanks, judih, for doing the announcements!

This thread is inspiring. Perhaps, later, we'll do a Muse-Ical Word Jam.

Post music pieces and jam words after them.

It's 12 noon. I'm late. Again.

I wanted to get there by 10AM.

Time is a slippery beast.

At first they told me they "got rid of" my artwork. Then when I got angry that it sounded like they trashed it, they claimed they sold it.

They are not very nice people. They talk down to me and dismiss me at every turn.

I feel like a leper.

Why do people treat other people so cruelly?

But my glass is not empty.

It is overflowing with love.

Love your enemies as yourself.

Why do people make enemies?

What's the purpose of it?

I don't get it.

I love everyone. Especially all of you.

I had your music playing all through my replies. I don't mind enemies, the Native Americans (according to Jerimiah Johnson) judged a man by the strength of his enemies.

"friends come and go, but enemies accumulate"

"Love your enemy"

"When we arm ourselves, we arm our enemies."

Well, I must be a strong woman, then, because there are people who consider me an enemy and I have no clue why.

Or else it's those people who are the strong ones.

Who knows?

Is the glass half empty or half full?

You are probably better off not knowing.

Yes you are strong as an ox and twice as pretty, no wait that didn't come out quite right. :)
With all our raging egos you would have to be strong to keep this place from exploding, Vanity, once in a while you have to prune, and transplant Listen to those Daffodils scream,

right now the glass is empty, except for faint vodka vapors, shaped like a strawberry.

Yes my glass is empty, and it is a relief, it is a very clean glass, virginal.

the one saying I have grown sick of is
"the enemy of my enemy is my friend" how much bloodshed there

my glass may be empty but my bowl is full of raisin bran and strawberries.
