Surender

Post by leafsailors ghost » June 3rd, 2016, 6:47 pm

The words struggle to the surface
betrayed by apathy
the love of the process trampled by neglect
yet to tell
another beautiful southern spring unfolds
our bees make magnolia wild flower honey
the red fish are running up the bay
deep green satisfaction of the sweet corn field
with the warm morning rain
is reflected in the mockingbirds song
understand
there is no big or little
it just is
we must be of the whole of it
the Hubble universe in our eyes
unfolding cascading heartbeat of creation
the answer is in the child's laughter
no it did not "just happen"
to live is to know this
surrender

the key to immortality... a child's laughter,
silly creator, I can hear it now...

I abandoned the growing up thing at age 23...
yupper, got 33 years experience at it too
many is a word

surrendering to the oneness
of it all
is the best you can do
embrace it

"there is no big or little
it just is"

the beauty of springtime is sublime

enjoyed
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

an accident of geometry
and angular momentum
this spinning top
on which we live
rolling around its little star
snow shadows shorten
days lengthen
and warmth returns
ice melts
seeds awaken
leaves unfurl
and the forests come alive
with sounds
flying things
croaking things
singing things
life resurrects
it's only physics
only biochemistry
but still magic
of the highest order
the cycle
.
