today's the day

Post by saw » June 14th, 2016, 4:05 am

can't muster metaphor today
it's all too real, the plunge
into a world of scalpels, clamps
and unknowns

faith is paramount
determination a must
belief in the future
in visions of familiar faces

I will be away for awhile
surrendered to healing sleep
but when I return I will write
with fiery wanderlust

unleashed by promises
of more days with the loves
of my life, I will bring stories
from an undesired adventure
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

keep the netherworld bright
watch for faces out of nowhere
friendly faces
friendly nowhere
it'll be alright!
