The Feather And The Air

The air does not mind the feathers eddies and thrusts
pulling up in strokes
climbing higher
filling full with the air beneath
then slipping back for another steady thrust
the air just slips about in quicksilver delight
holding the feather ever higher
we dance said the feather
indeed said the air

wonderful description of symbiosis ....the feather is given life, the air normally invisible takes on an image....I've always been fascinated by an eddy of swirling leaves....there is great scene depicting that phenomenon in the movie American Beauty ....
