neighbor

Post by saw » July 8th, 2016, 6:17 am

my neighbor
is in love
with his weed-wacker
he turns it loose
to growl
like a lovesick moose
every day of the week
twice on sunday
and I can't help but wonder
does he really abhor weeds
that much, or does he
merely love the aroma
of burnt gasoline exhaust, or
maybe it's the hum
of that cheap two-stroke
engine, whining
like a piece of shit yamaha ...
whatever it is,
it's addictive
he cannot stop himself,
I feel like I should intervene
offer my help
as an amateur psychologist
that's more than happy
to give free advice
He's Weird though and
i wonder if he may be
an axe murderer as well
as this serial wacker,
in the end I suppose
my Skull Candy headphones
will keep doing the trick
volume cranked to beyond 10
Janis wailing over the shrill insults
Take Another Piece of My Heart Now Baby
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Crack me up ! Headline: Dead Girl Singer vs.Wacked Wacker serial weed wacker ha!
I have an electric one (corded) accepting its limitations it's a fun piece of kit - I can get into it sometimes - got a fifty foot lead plus a 25 ft gives me 75 feet of roam but twice on Sunday ain't me though it is possible to get into a samurai mode with the thing -

- That's it for personal revelations concerning whacking the wilderness -
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

the most absurd tool with an engine is the leaf blower...I actually watch as lawn services blow all the grass clippings either into the street or into a neighbor's yard...it's all about this finishing touch that has no regard for anyone else...as long as the customer's sidewalk or driveway is totally without a shred of debris....moving your problem onto someone else...these services all have a guy that wears this engine on his back like a backpack....engine inches from his ears...the whole thing is so bizarre to me

Sometimes i get some entertainment value out of watching an individual operate those things -
see a lot of people out doing yardwork when i'm on the bike - leafblowers, weed whackers, lawnmowers, especially the zero turn mowers - some guys got that thing down - watching diff people do that -man, hell yeah - one thing i would pay for the privilege to watch is someone doing a two-three acre crop circle with a zero-turn mower alone - yeah, think of it 8)
