few words tossed into the fountain

Post by mtmynd » July 14th, 2016, 6:52 pm

steady she rode while the ballast hung deep
the slight curvature of the horizon tempting
the spiritless soul to move on, to move on...
a ceaseless quench of imagination held tight
as yet another day rose from the dark night
whistler's songs filled the still air : birds alive.

Cecil, ya ol' tosser 8)
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Your wishes are granted-
Stranger still unanswered question marks line
The streets where people go to and from work
And they toss one off here and there
Beginning in the isolation of home
Until somehow
The buffalo roam
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Hi Cec
there's ground, sky and air
sometimes the stink of cows, sometimes the stink of chickens
sometimes the stink of a chemical factory from the south
but sometimes, it's quiet, scent of jasmine, that lone bird that warbles
the heat sinks below 100 and something
and again we hope for peace

each day another crack at expressiveness.....birds and poets sing
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Life has its way and
we are but passengers on a journey,
aboard for the experience.
