"...and Quiet"
"...and Quiet"
My own quietness mimics
the dead
who had nothing more
to say, had no more living to do
and decided to lie down
with the rest of their loves
for eternity
the dead
who had nothing more
to say, had no more living to do
and decided to lie down
with the rest of their loves
for eternity

Thank you. Been working on "fewer words" on some of my older poems. This is one of those.

A poem like this would be denigrated at AT. The main puckheads are not poets. They are shouters.
