Palestine

Post by the mingo » September 9th, 2016, 9:22 pm

half a face stares at me
from out of a flock of birds
the bridge awaits a train
seven clear lightbulbs hang from the roof of the skull -
no flower can help now
a dark haired woman advances ahead of a brick wall
a dancer goes absolutely still in mid-pose
as hand piles on top of hand
all the way to heaven
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Heaven, heaven, heaven... Oh what trouble ye hath wrought...

Nice poem.

That's kind of what I meant. Which heaven? Which side's gonna "win" the heaven wars?
