Bystanding a Crucifixion

Post by the mingo » November 6th, 2016, 2:46 am

Excited, we dodge back & forth
running a ruthless course around the house
in a race to clear icicles from the edge of the roof
with the handle of a broom
that isn't always right for the task
and cleave to the belief that if we fail
we will be forgiven as the last visitors who forgot,
on our way out,
to close the gate.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

a six foot icicle in the top of the head ( or face perhaps ) seems so biblical....ha ha....very nice....packed with possibilities that extend beyond the eaves of the house... 8) 8)
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
