why I can't talk about the political situation

but the problem is the Hegelian proposition
thesis, antithesis, synthesis
which means they create a problem
and then they pretend to have the solution

so one question, why would people vote against
their own interests, the answer is that they
figured out way back around WW I how to
use psychology to get people that did not want
to war, to give up and go along with it

it's all about using the media to brainwash us
its gotten worse and worse since the Vietnam war
because a bunch of collage age students were against
that war,the powers that be learned from that
when there was still some real journalists around
it was the CIA that coined the term conspiracy theory
so anybody that actually questions the official line
is labeled as, but now more people know that only alternate
news sites on the internet tell us what is really happening


but because of computers and some people that know how
to get information, we now know just how corrupt
the ruling elite are, and its all been coming out
in a flood lately, but if you did not know this
like I did when I was a teenager in the sixties
like I knew on that horrible day they crashed planes
into the towers, then there is no excuse to not
know it now

but what kind of doctor Strange Love game do they still
have up their sleeve, why would anybody vote for the
candidate that has vowed to continue the perpetual war
all the ill deeds that have been exposed, and they have made
a huge disgusting pile, and as the other candidate said
clean the sewer in Washington
but is the alternative just another puppet

politics is a dirty business....a quest more for money and power than a study of how best to help each citizen....btw...the CIA did not coin the term" Conspiracy Theory"...they merely popularized it....and used it to label anyone that basically disagreed with the party line....but the term has been around since at least the early 1900's.....in any case you make good points, and yes...i can take very little of the constant barrage by media to try to make politics the end-all.....c'mon 24 hour coverage ?.....cable channels that do nothing but talk about this shit from dawn to dawn....MSNBC calls itself, The Place For Politics.....geez.....is that all there is ?
I think I'll take a walk in the woods now...

Good response, suffice to say things have been going down hill in this country, my point about conspiracy theory, is that the powers that be have been saying that anybody that questions the official line is labeled by that. I began writing poetry coming out of the late sixties, I always thought that poetry was about questioning the official line. That has always been in my mind when I write. There are so many bad things going on it's hard to keep up on it all but if you notice that I recently wrote a poem on here that said that poetry was about being a truth teller. I want to write about beautiful things, but and if I actually wrote about how ugly things are, and they are getting uglier as i write this. Things that I don't even want to mention. It's a wonder that I can write anything at all without sounding like a raving lunatic
with a sing that says the end of the world in nigh.

really no words to say about "the political situation", I´m kind of a-word since almost a year...!
