so what Castro is dead
he did a few good things
because he was not stupid
but he put writers in jail
if they did not go along
with everything he deemed
and who was this man really
what did he really stand for
was his communism just a front
for another agenda, the real revolution
of the people in Russia was betrayed
by the leaders, and they ended up with Stalin
was Castro much different, no he did not kill
millions of his own people, but he did jail
writers and poets and others
for dissenting views, not really a revolution
for the people, more for another leader
with some secret agenda,
which we still don't know
Castro is dead so what
Re: Castro is dead so what
A honest write of an enigma that was Castro

Re: Castro is dead so what
hidden agendas..? Thought control?: I´ll be biblical with that: the governments free of them, throw the first stone... !
Personally, the slight difference with Castro is that I can be a bit more emphatic & also simphatic with his circumstances...
May Fidel keep doing his job in History or somewhere or rest in peace a bit if he wants it. May also the Cuban people continue their own way..!

Did you ever read Tres Tristes Tigres by Guillermo Cabrera Infante, A Cuban
author. I guess Cuba is a kind of enigma. But most world leaders if not all are compromised one way or another.
We the people never get the real story.

Good for Cuba as an enigma!! :enigmas are challenging!, maybe each country and each person has their favourite ones...!!
. I read Cabrera Infante´s "Puro humo" in an Alfaguara edition and no, as long as I remember I haven´t read "Tres tristes tigres", but I always wanted to read it, so gracias for the reminder!!!!!!
