Winter of '66

Post by the mingo » December 12th, 2016, 7:52 am

Shit, it's Sunday,
thought there was gonna be a problem with the hose
amounted to just a bit of leakage no serious cracks
- winter is more than a bitch if you have serious cracks -
once I patched a serious crack with a piece of David Bowie's "Golden Years",
right where it went " in the back of a dream car 20 feet long"
was this spot that just hummed ya know?
and it worked ! did it up and got out of there just before
the Wendigo showed up singing slave to love I said may I have this dance look at all the snow
music helps though it's not a cure for anything storm as we held hands across dreams
you wanted to talk about the river,
I didn't
so we settled on a murderer's tale a long way from its mother
the dog kept barking at the door
in those days before texting
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
