the end of newspeak or fake news

Post by revolutionR » February 2nd, 2017, 12:07 am

the reason we have poetry
is because poets don't tell lies
you can put lies into poems
but they are rendered moot
this allows the words
to speak their own thought
but the words more like are
a painting

how is it that poets still exist
considering that on this planet
we have been so oppressed
the answer to that is that
poets are considered crazy
or merely like jesters to the king

also since it is easy to mock a poet
so that is why they have what is
called a critic, and so the more wild
poets are attacked by the critics

but there is a lot we don't know about
it's that poets see things that others
have been deprived from
poets can't help it, they have to tell it

sometimes when a poet writes
it's like its a forgotten language
comes through, the surrealists knew this

but poetry is an art
it is also a way to keep some
of the old wisdom alive, the wild writing

can't argue with the logic here....apparently there were writers that used metaphor to outwit the Nazi critics, that totally missed the message, and get their books published...it's a beautiful thing when it works right
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Poets are human, so they tell lies,
but they don't seem the usual lies,
they go a bit deeper, or try.

Keep the old wisdom alive, but
a lot of old wisdom was set on war,
so keep that in mind, old wisdom
is a dance to dance around,
sometimes.

Hard to wrap your head around
wisdom-- what are its true
manifestations?

It seems that a lot of what might be called wisdom, must be old, old in the sense that it was put in ancient texts. I also think the word wisdom is related to the divine feminine, which has been hidden or suppressed. Otherwise I just thinking about how interesting poetry is, when it just allows language to be wild. 8)

I don't know about the "Divine Feminine" other than a suspicion I entertain from time to time that this notion sprang full-formed from a male brain that was cuntstruck.

As for poetry - poetry is fucking war. The field of operations is inside of you and outside of you simultaneously, seamless and whole. Alive & vibrant. Angry & bloody. It asks no quarter & gives none. Nor should it.

Poetry is fucking war and war is everywhere. War never sleeps. War never stops. Poetry is a wicked bastard or a wicked bitch + attitude. That's why the efforts to stifle poetry are intense & ongoing. Cain killed Abel long ago, since then its been Cain vs. Cain out here all the way to the bitter end.

I doubt many readers will agree with this. I don't give two shits because I'm too fucking busy dipping my pen in blood and flicking that blood against the wall or into the faces of my fellow combatants until we all reach unity of realization of who we are, where we are, and what we are going to do here.

poetry lives
in a put-together house
looks out on snow, rain, sunlight,
goes for a walk
ready, willing, able,
& armed to the teeth

Wild language for sure.
